In addition to paying tribute to those you love, memorial gifts support members of the hospice community experiencing financial hardships. You memorial donation helps provide:
- Safety, comfort, or personal care items for patients (bed alarms, bed rails, activity aprons, seat & bed cushions, soap, towels, etc.)
- Special bereavement programs and materials to assist family members who are facing challenges with grief
- "Last Wish" experiences that give patients a "dream come true" moment while providing the family with a memorable experience to add to their treasure chest of memories
- Bill assistance (electricity, water, gas, etc.)
- Resources for alternative therapies (art, music, massage)
- Travel costs for families who need transportation to visit their loved one
- Adaptations to the home to make it more accessible (installing wheelchair ramps, handrails)
- Small community grants to organizations that serve hospice patients and/or their families
