Treasured Memories on the Lakeshore

At 90 years old, Janet Steinmetz of Ohio could not attend her granddaughter’s wedding because of her Alzheimer’s diagnosis—but that didn’t mean she was left out of the joy.

Thanks to your generosity, her hospice team transformed Janet’s lakeside home into a beautiful backdrop for a family photo shoot with loved ones visiting from out of town. Surrounded by thoughtful decorations, the family shared smiles, embraces and tender moments they will never forget.

Though Janet could not speak, her family’s gratitude spoke volumes.

“It was the most beautiful setting… these photos will be treasures we keep forever,” a family member said.
